Slovakia is sending approximately eight tonnes of humanitarian aid to the earthquake-stricken Nepal on Thursday (May 28). The Interior Ministry brought this information stating that the Czech Republic is facilitating the transport with their Airbus A320. The aid includes mainly tents, beds, blankets, sleeping bags, food and beverage containers, power generators and lighting devices. Accompanying the material will be two ministry representatives and one diplomacy representative who fly to Nepal, where an earthquake on April 25 resulted in more than 8,000 casualties.
