Over the last two years we've been covering a curious cloaking device which can successfully hide items away from being detected by magnetic fields. In that time, the device has increased in both efficiency and size, while gaining the attention of international research organisations. But what are the practical applications, and what's in the future for this unique cloaking device? Gavin Shoebridge spoke to Dr Fedor Gömöry, a superconductor researcher at the Slovak Academy of Sciences' electrical engineering faculty.
