Key-rings, coffee cups, even car parts can all be manufactured at home with a 3D printer, and it's only the beginning. The next big step isn't 3D printed food, but instead 3D printed body parts. Could it actually be possible to print out a new kidney, or perhaps an ear? Maybe one day, says Tomáš Havran, President of the Bratislava Medical Students Association at Comenius University. Gavin Shoebridge spoke to him to find out where the technology is now, and where it's heading.
