Fighting cancer with neoplastic cells

Neoplastic cells are the building blocks of cancerous tumours. They're mutants; sometimes harmless, sometimes not. But what turns normal, healthy cells into these neoplastic killers, and equally importantly, how can researchers fight these cells? It's an area of research under constant study, including in the labs of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava. Gavin Shoebridge spoke to Dr Albert Breier, head of the Biochemistry and Microbiology Institute to learn more.
