Chances are, you've already been contacted by a Nigerian prince, asking to send millions of US dollars out of his country via your bank account. The general populace was largely wised up to such scams, but at their peak, they sent thousands of unsuspecting individuals into debt, bankruptcy, or in extreme cases, suicide. Such 419 scams are just the tip of the online cyber-crime iceberg too, with an endless barrage of hacking attacks happening day and night on individuals, businesses, and government computers, trying to access the data within.
