Is it dead or alive? Slovakia's first satellite has now been orbiting the Earth for six months. Just two weeks after its initially successful launch, the country's pioneering satellite stopped operating fully due to a malfunction, probably caused by radiation. So, is there hope for its future? Yes, says Dr Michaela Musilová, head of the Slovak Organisation for Space Activities (SOSA). In fact, in a few months, a complete reboot of the onboard systems should take place.
