2022 will bring Slovakia its first complex legislation for climate protection. It is being prepared by the Ministry of the Environment. The priority goal of the regulation should be to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. The new climate law is intended to increase transparency and verification of Slovakia's ecological commitments. The Climate Coalition Initiative therefore makes its own recommendations on what such a law should look like. Marianna Palk spoke to one of the coordinators of the Climate Coalition initiative - Dana Mareková.
