International scientific cooperation is hit by war

Among the many casualties of the war in Ukraine are the many instances of ongoing scientific cooperation between Russian and Western scientists. This includes the high-level neutrino research taking place at the renowned Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), located in Dubna just outside of Moscow. Jonathan speaks with Fedor Šimkovic and Rastislav Dvornicki from the Faculty of Physics at Comenius University in Bratislava, both of whom have felt the impact of the war on Slovak scientific work following Slovakia’s official suspension of its long-running cooperation with JINR.
