The Danube River flows through no fewer than ten countries on its long journey from the Germany to the Black Sea with it serving as a historical trade route and natural wonder. It also separates countries, which means 36 bridges now run across it. That number is to increase soon however, due to recently announced plans to bridge it yet again by joining the Slovak town of Dobrohošť and the Hungarian town of Dunakiliti.
