Last week was the Week of Science and Technology in Slovakia, an annual event which showcases Slovak research and discovery through a series of open door events, public demonstrations and seminars. From each and every region in the country, thousands of curious visitors - both students and adults - flowed through the doors of various institutions, laboratories, and businesses to discover what's new in the technology sphere. Sadly, this meant there were too many events to cover in detail, however Gavin Shoebridge found one with a lot to offer: the Institute of Electrical Engineering within the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava.
