“It must have been here”, I told Oxana Ferjencikova, now Ferancova, my ex-colleague from the English section of RSI back in 2004. Shortly ahead of Slovakia’s entry to the European Union, we were both asked by our ex-colleague from the Slovak Radio, Sona Mihalikova, now Mellak, to be respondents to a BBC journalist for his story covering the atmosphere in the country. After 20 years, we reunited to link Bratislava with Brussels not only in the telephone interview.
