Miriam Normore is the president of the Východná Slovak Dancers, a folk group based in the Greater Toronto Area. Even though she moved to Canada rather recently, she blended in the Slovak expat group quite effortlessly. Folklore helped!

Východná Slovak Dancers took part in the folk TV show Zem Spieva and actually passed to the semi-final round. They will be returning to Slovakia and the Slovak television soon!
