Richards Swales, from the UK, started his application process 17 years after arriving in Slovakia. This father of two Slovak children, wanted to be more integrated into Slovak society. James Stevko, from the United States, is seeking citizenship by descent. He wants to feel closer to his family roots, and he sees opportunity in a European passport.
