Experience from the SNP trail: Body is amazing, but prepare mentally for the hike

The longest Slovak trekking trail named in honour of those who participated in the Slovak National Uprising to protest against the rule of Nazi Germany over the wartime Slovak state is part of the E8 long distance hiking trail with the start in Cork, Ireland, and end in Istanbul, Turkey. Silvia Zbončáková, a 22-year-old student of languages managed to finish the hike solo in 27 days, during some of them she was soaking wet. What was the hardest part of the hike and how had she prepared for the hike?
