Analyst: There is nothing alternative about alt-right

On 12th August 2017, white nationalists rallied through the streets of Charlottesville, Virginia, chanting Nazi slogans like Blood and Soil, while their clashes with counter protesters ended with one dead and many injured. The American President Donald Trump met with criticism for not condemning the violence on the side of the white nationalists or neo-Nazis. On Saturday, 19th August, the supporters of Kotleba - People's Party Our Slovakia, a Slovak extreme right party, got into their cars and rallied around the Banská Bystrica region in Central Slovakia at what they labelled as a protest drive against anti-social people. So, can we compare the actions of alt-right supporters in the US and in Slovakia? Zuzana Botiková spoke about this topic with Daniel Milo, an expert on extremism, from the GLOBSEC Policy Institute.
