Back to the first Christmas of World War I, in 1914, British and German soldiers on the front lines not only agreed to stop fighting for the holiday, but even met together and exchanged names and addresses for after the war. They also discovered that the two sides had almost completely opposite ideas about what the war was all about. Jonathan McCormick continues.
