Be it for work, better life opportunities or family connections, there have been numerous waves of Slovaks leaving their country looking for life somewhere else. Even today, the number of people in the age group 18-28 leaving Slovakia is still higher than the number of those who arrive. However, the trend is improving, with examples of skilled and experienced Slovaks returning to their homeland. Zuzana Palovic tracked some of their stories.
