Slovakia is famous for its beautiful and diverse nature, green forests and river valleys. Even in Slovakia, however, human activities have caused harm to some of the regions and damaged parts of the countryside. Since then, scientists and zoologists have worked on restoring damaged areas, and this is how one of the most active environmental organisations, the Regional Association for Nature Conservation and Sustainable Development, or BROZ as it is abbreviated in Slovak, was established.
