The Old Market Hall and Miletičova open air markets are two of the most famous and iconic Bratislava market venues and they are both linked by changes, the former with the past, the latter with changes that are yet to be made.

A famous slaughterhouse, which was part of the rich history of Bratislava's food industry, once stood in the place of today's Miletičova market - or Miletička as locals call it. In the 1970s, the slaughterhouse became a market, but the place has changed only a little since. On 17 February 2020, however, it was announced that Miletička was to undergo reconstruction over the following years. Let's find out now what changes are to be made in our famous Miletička.
