Green communities around Slovakia

Over the past few years, community centres have gained significantly in popularity. In fact, these centres, often established by a handful of altruistic enthusiasts and volunteers, have a lot to offer: from a few nice moments of shared experience to the very important sense of belonging.

Today we bring you three different stories, each of them from a different Slovak town, that have one thing in common: a sense of community.

The civic association Zucchini, or Cuketa in Slovak, that has its seat in the Slovak town of Nitra has launched many community projects: from community education centre to community garden, its activities address everyone, regardless of age or gender.
