Over the past few years, community centres have gained significantly in popularity. In fact, these centres, often established by a handful of altruistic enthusiasts and volunteers, have a lot to offer: from a few nice moments of shared experience to the very important sense of belonging.

The civic association Zucchini, or Cuketa in Slovak, that has its seat in the Slovak town of Nitra has launched many community projects: from community education centre to community garden, its activities address everyone, regardless of age or gender.
