School at home: are parents coping?

As we move into the third week of school closures in Slovakia due to the epidemic, parents are struggling as they take on the role of substitute teacher on top of their other duties, in what is already a difficult situation with no end in sight. But are parents who lack teacher training needlessly being put under pressure to fulfil a role for which they don't have the needed skills? Are there other approaches to handling the situation which might create less stress and prove more beneficial? In this special school-at-home feature, several parents and teachers tell of their experiences so far, voice their concerns and offer suggestions.
