Every year on 22 April, people across the globe celebrate Earth Day. This year, however, its celebration was special because 22 April 2020 marked its 50th anniversary. Slovak schools participating in the Zelená škola programme which is part of the international Eco-Schools programme, usually celebrate Earth Day by planting trees and cleaning streams or forests.
