On the 1st of May 1886, workers in Chicago started the general strike for an eight-hour work day. In many countries all around the world, the 1st of May is celebrated as International Workers' Day in the wake of the 1886 events. In the year 2020, the English section of RSI paid attention to people who fight for the rights of workers in Slovakia at the time of COVID-19 restriction measures.
