Will the pandemic change the attitude towards the elderly?

There was no news bulletin in March or April in Slovakia that didn't mention that those older than 65 are at high risk of catching the new coronavirus and developing severe forms of the disease. Almost 904,000 people, or about 16.5 percent of Slovakia's population, fall into this age category. They were repeatedly told to stay at home and avoid in person interaction even with extended family members. How did they navigate these strange times? And how will this experience change the attitude of the rest of society towards the elderly? Anca Dragu reports.
