Disinformation on rise in Slovakia

There are many examples throughout human history of where disinformation was deliberately spread. Nazis, KGB and even the catholic church used it in order to secure their own power. Today, however, we are facing an unprecedented flood of disinformation, hoaxes and fake news that can be found mostly on the Internet and social media where anyone can publish anything. But how can you protect yourself from disinformation? And what is the current situation with disinformation in Slovakia? We asked information security specialist Tomáš Kriššák from Open Society Foundation.
