The UK is one of the most popular countries for Slovak university students. who consider studying abroad. Right after the Czech Republic. Until now, Slovaks and other EU citizens had the same rights at the universities as British students, including lower tuition fees or the possibility to take out a student loan. This will, however, change after the 2021 spring semester. Petrana Zemanová discussed the upcoming situation with the student advisor Simona Vrabcová, who herself is pursuing her postgraduate study at a British university.
