February in North America is observed as Black History Month. Even though the majority of Slovaks may be unknowledgeable about this event, both the US and Canadian embassies in Slovakia prepared online events to commemorate this month here as well. According to John von Kaufmann, Chargé d'affaires of Canada in Slovakia, the topic of racial discrimination is present also in other parts of the world, including Slovakia. Zuzana Botiková spoke to him about Black History Months as well as about the diplomacy during the pandemic.
