Easter celebrations in many Slovak households include egg painting, house decorating and cooking special Easter dishes. Although the result is often a beautifully decorated household where you can smell delicious food and admire hand-painted eggs, according to Greenpeace Slovakia spokesperson Patrícia Brandysová, it is wise to think also about the ecological impact of the way we celebrate Easter.
