As a well-known slogan goes, there is no planet B. Therefore, over the past few years many NGOs as well as individuals have launched various environmental projects in order to save the only planet we can live on. So far. In Slovakia, Human Health Institute NGO is one of them. In the following interview, I will discuss one of the institute's projects called Zaži čisté rieky or Clean Rivers Experience with Environmental Protection Project Manager Lucia Ďurčová.
Over the past three years, cleanup projects organised by the Human Health Institute have helped collect more than 20 tonnes of waste from Slovak rivers and their surroundings. Over this week-end, hundreds of volunteers in Slovakia will meet to help nature become clean again. And, as they say, every helping hand counts.
