In the common state, even before the division of Czechoslovakia it was not a problem for Slovaks to get to the Czech Republic to study. According to data from 2020, there are about 21 000 students from Slovakia studying at universities in the Czech Republic. This represents almost 8.5% of the total number of students in this country. Do young Slovaks feel like foreigners in the neighbouring Czech Republic? We asked young people who are studying at universities in the Czech Republic for details.
