Ben Pascoe visited World Refugee Day 2023 celebrations in Bratislava. Since 2001 the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has been organizing World Refugee Day every 20th of June. This past Saturday the day was commemorated with a march through Bratislava’s old town and workshops, stands, and performances on the bank of the Danube. Ben Pascoe talked with the head of UNHCR office in Slovakia as well as some of the participants in the event.
