How has the war in Ukraine changed this Slovak journalist?

In 2016, Tomaš Forró, a Slovak crisis reporter, embarked on his first reporting trip to Ukraine. The experiences were documented in his 2019 book, Donbas: Wedding suite at the war hotel. Three years later, the now more experienced reporter returned to the battlefield in Ukraine, this time to report on the full-scale invasion. He is out now with a new book about those experiences entitled Siren Song. Jeremy Hill sat down with Forró to discuss his new book and to learn about the life of a crisis reporter.
