Ladislav Bielik is one of the most renowned photoreporters in Slovak history. On the anniversary of the occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1968, Ladislav's son, Peter Bielik dedicated one of the most iconic pohotograps “The bare-chested man in front of a tank” made by his father to the Pavol Országh Hviezdoslav Theatre. Paťka had the chance to visit an exhibition of 1968 photos by Ladislav Bielik organized at the DPOH in honor of the 56th anniversary of the occupation of Czechoslovakia.
