There are not many Slovak names known across the world that immediately come to mind when you start speaking about basketball. In the 70 years of the National Basketball League's, or NBA's existence, there has so far been only one player from Slovakia - Richard Petruška - playing there in the early 1990s. However, there is one other Slovak name, which can be found all the way in the Basketball Hall of Fame - the name of John Kundla. This legendary basketball coach with Slovak heritage passed away on 23 July, 2017 in Minneapolis.
