Despite the fact the Slovak alpine skier Petra Vlhová did not win any overall World Cup trophy this winter, she became the giant slalom world champion and came second in the World Cup overall, winning 14 medals from individual races in the season. Well, perhaps it is because she is skiing in the so-called Mikaela Shiffrin era, as this young American skier has already been called the best skier in history. However, the 2018/2019 winter season was all about Petra trying to challenge Mikaela, and succeeding a few times. Listen to the overview of her season.
