The Slovak Football, Ice Hockey, Handball and Volleyball Associations are protesting against the ban on mass sport events announced by the Central Crisis Committee on Monday. "We want to invite Chief Hygienist Ján Mikas to submit documents on the basis of which such a decision was made. We ask that he submit the numbers of positive people who became infected at sport events. The exception that it is possible to organize a sports event only if each participant has a negative test not older than 12 hours, is considered undoable in the case of regular competitions. Saturday's sports matches alone would consume the entire daily capacity of 6,500 tests which Slovakia is able to provide at the moment," reads the statement of the Slovak Handball Association released on Tuesday.
