Slovak tennis player Anna Karolína Schmiedlová advanced to the 3rd round of the grandslam tournament Roland Garros and was scheduled to play Argentinian Nadia Pororoska on Friday. On her way, she beat former finalist Venus Williams and Victoria Azarenko. In men double, Slovak Norbert Gombos also advanced to the 3rd round where he was to play against another Argentinian, Diego Schwartzman.
