Slovakia's Filip Polášek with Croatia's Ivan Dodig have won the Australian Open Mens Doubles with a 6-3, 6-4 win over 2020 champions Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury. The 2021 Australian Open was special for the 35-year-old Slovak tennis player not only because he made history by becoming the first male Slovak player to reach a Grand Slam doubles final and win the men's doubles title, but also because his second daughter was born just one day before the last match of the tournament.
