The Finance Ministry has earmarked €9.5 million for the Fund for Support of Sport, aimed at supporting both professional and amateur sports, TASR press agency reported on Monday. "The Finance Ministry is aware that restrictions during the pandemic have caused problems in the sports sector, too. That's why we have released €9.5 million to help in this difficult situation and to enable the further development of this field," wrote the ministry press department.
