Slovak boccia player Samuel Andrejčík won gold in the BC4 category final at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo, defeating Thai player Pornchok Larpyen 4:0. After the silver medal from the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Andrejčík has thus added gold to his collection. "It feels great. I'm overwhelmingly happy that the five years of waiting for the Paralympics is over and nothing from the preparations ended in vain. We worked really hard," Andrejčík told the paralympic.sk website.
