With the opening throw-off of the 2022 European Men’s Handball Championships just moments away, the organising committee for the Slovak part of the tournament was happy to announce earlier this week that the top-level handball matches would be held in front of spectators in Slovak venues, too. The arenas in Košice and Bratislava can be filled up to a capacity of 25% for all matches. The European handball championships are scheduled to take place from 13 to 30 January in Bratislava, Košice and the Hungarian cities of Budapest, Debrecen and Szeged. Zuzana Botiková discussed this and other related questions with the head of the Slovak organising committee, Igor Nemeček.
