At the recent Winter Paralympics, Slovakia had 32 para-athletes in the competition, which is 19 more than four years ago in Pyeongchang. Slovakia usually wins the most medals in alpine skiing. Four years ago, both male and female ski racers from Slovakia won 11 precious medals, six of which were gold. Henrieta Farkašová became the most successful participant of the Games with four gold and one silver medal. In Beijing, she wanted to build on this shining performance. In Beijing she won two golds. Overall, the Slovak Paralympic team ended tenth in the medal ranking at the 2022 Winter Paralympics and returned from China with six medals - three golds and three bronzes.
