The Slovak K1 Men's team has become the world champion at the 2022 World Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom Championship in Ivreia, Italy. Ondrej Macúš, Richard Rumanský and Filip Stanko won ahead of the French and British in the kayak team race. The success of the Slovak athletes was multiplied by the female junior kayak team's silver as well as the female junior canoe team winning bronze. The U23 teams did not record any top three position with the female kayak team coming fourth and male kayak team 14th. The U23 men canoe team ended up 6th.
