Slovak sports shooter Danka Bartekova won a gold medal in the women's skeet at the Qatar Open, defeating compatriot Vanesa Hockova 37:36 in the final at the shooting range in Lusail, Qatar. Bartekova triumphed at the event for the fifth time, also succeeding in 2013, 2017, 2019 and 2020. "It was a difficult competition, which I didn't start well. In the first round, I hit 19 out of 25 targets. I'm glad that I recovered and fought in the next four rounds. I'm also happy because Vanesa shot a fantastic race in the qualification and in the final, in which we were catching up each other. We can both be satisfied with the results," said Danka Bartekova.
