Trnava in Europa Conference League play-off

Spartak Trnava beats Lech Poznań 3:1. Slovaks advance to the play off of UEFA Europa Conference League. Kelvin Ofori scoring the first assisted to Erik Daniel also with the second one. After receiving a goal from the rival, Trnava secured its victory with Lukas Stetina and his spectacular scissor kick. According to Spartak’s coach Michal Gasparik, over 16 700 fans at the stadium contributed hugely to their team triumph. On Thursday, security measures had to be introduced in Trnava, western Slovakia, due to the UEFA European Conference League football match due to the fact it was labelled as risky. However, no major accidents were reported after the match.
FC Spartak Trnava will now face Dnipro-1 from Ukraine in the group stage. The two-legged tie with Dnipro-1 will start with a home game on Wednesday 23 August at 6.30 p.m., the rematch is scheduled for a week later in Košice, eastern Slovakia.
