Spartak Trnava did not lack much to end Fenerbahce Istanbul's 14-match winning streak in all competitions. They lost 1:2 to their Turkish opponents in Thursday's UEFA Europa League Group H match on home turf. However, they could have tied the score in the last seconds of the game. Despite the loss, Spartak coach Michal Gašparík was happy with his team's performance. "We played against a tough opponent, the boys gave a great performance, they reached the limit of their performance," he said. Another Slovak champion, Slovan Bratislava, tops Group A after two games of the European Conference League. It beat Olimpija Ljubljana from Slovenia 1:0.
