Slovak skier Petra Vlhová spoke of great luck after finishing Tuesday night's World Cup slalom in the Austrian resort of Flachau. She broke one of the gates as she passed it and was lucky not to have her ski fall underneath her. Otherwise, she would not have finished the race, according to her own words. Vlhova lost 27 hundredths to the winner Mikaela Shiffrin and finished second.
