The New York Rangers have become the first team to advance to the NHL playoffs. In the Montreal-Colorado match, Slovak forward Juraj Slafkovský contributed one assist in Montreal's 2-1 win. He scored for the eighth consecutive game and tied the club's U-20 record from the 1974-75 season with his 40th point of the season. In the past eight games, Slafkovsky has two goals and six assists.
