The Slovak national ice hockey team suffered their first loss in preparation for the World Championship in the Czech Republic. On Thursday, they lost 3:7 to Germany in Kaufbeuren, and they did not follow up last week's triumphs against Switzerland (3:0 and 5:3). The second match against the home team will be played on Saturday, 20 April, in Augsburg.
