Wednesday night at 18:00h the Slovak national football team will face Romania in their final match of the opening round of Euro 2024 in Germany. Depending on the result and the result of the Belgium vs. Ukraine match, Slovakia could finish anywhere from 1st place to 4th place in the group. A win will assure the team of a place in the round of 16. Winning the group will mean meeting either the Netherlands of Slovenia in the next round. A second place finish would mean facing France. Finishing in 3rd place could mean a duel against either Spain or England.
